Why I am sharing

A mother, a neighbor, and a person hoping for a healthier future.

My family means everything to me. Being there for school events, family dinners, birthdays, and the small everyday routines with my children is the biggest reason I am fighting so hard to stay healthy.

I have always tried to be active in my community, whether that means helping at school events, supporting local families, volunteering when I can, or simply showing up for the people around me.

Kidney disease has changed my life in ways I never expected. Some days are physically and emotionally difficult, but I am doing everything I can to stay hopeful, prepared, and ready for transplant.

Family is my reason

My two children inspire me every day to keep going, stay hopeful, and look toward a healthier future.

Community matters

I believe in showing up for others, supporting local families, and being part of something caring and connected.

Hope can spread

Even if someone cannot donate, sharing this story could help it reach a person who wants to learn more.

Living donation

A living kidney donor can offer the chance for a healthier, longer life.

Many people do not realize that a living donor can donate one kidney and help someone like me move toward transplant. I know this is a deeply personal decision, and I would never take that kind of generosity for granted.

Evaluation comes first Potential donors complete medical testing to make sure donation is safe for them.
It is voluntary A person can ask questions, take time, and decide whether to continue.
Privacy matters Transplant teams typically protect donor privacy throughout the evaluation process.
One share can help Awareness expands the circle beyond the people Sarah already knows.
